Welcome to Fir Garth Cottage

This was our second stay at fir garth we really like the location and the house has everything we need for a large family. With each room having a onsuite and plenty of space to spread out. The children loved the toys and books. Great pubs and resturants close by. Only issue being the rubbish made a trip to the recyle place to find no bottle bank and black bin already full when we arrived. Maybe need to rethink a better method . Having said this lovely house and owner very easy to reach to answer questions. [WPCR_INSERT]

We had a fabulous holiday staying here. The location is great, the views from the balcony are breathtaking and the house is wonderful. We stayed with another family and the facilities are brilliant for this. Separate luxury en-suite facilities for 4 out of the 5 bedrooms, plus an extra bathroom with roll-top bath, meant that we were never waiting to get a shower in the morning! For sharing families this was perfect. The living room is beautiful with high ceilings and the photos don't really do it justice. The appliances in the kitchen were great, including a coffee machine for a freshly ground 'bean to cup' morning caffeine fix! There was everything we needed in the kitchen and we were able to easily cook many meals, not missing a single utensil. The 'snug' downstairs was great and also meant the children had some space to themselves to play in and watch tv or dvds. We hope to return here; having lived in the Lakes before, I don't think you can get a better location for proximity to amenities, whilst still feeling like you are truly escaping and enjoying the full Lake Dustrict experience. Thank you to Hannah who has been great throughout the whole booking process, right down to returning a cable we left in the house by mistake!

We stayed at this fantastic cottage 7th to 10th May 2018. 9 of us celebrate a 60th birthday. Wow couldn’t have wanted for more. Bedrooms & ensuite were fab the main bathroom with roll top bath was really stylish. The main living room & kitchen had everything a group of this size could want. The balcony & view of the Langdales were stunning. Highly recommend this cottage to anyone who wants to be impressed.
